AFFIRMATIVE:

Subject + VERB + complement.

I DRIVE a car.
You FLY kites.
We WATCH TV.
They EAT pizza.

He WASHES the dishes.
She STUDIES English.
It SLEEPS on the rug.

NEGATIVE:

Subject + DO/DOES + VERB (base form) + complement.

I DON'T   DRIVE a car.
You DON'T FLY kites.
We DON'T WATCH TV.
They DON'T EAT pizza.

He DOESN'T WASH the dishes.
She DOESN'T STUDY English.
It DOESN'T SLEEP on the rug.

INTERROGATIVE:

DO/DOES + subject +   VERB (base form) + complement?

DO I DRIVE a car?
DO you fly kites?
DO we WATCH TV?

THIRD PERSON SINGULAR -S RULES:

1. Add -S.

2. Verbs ending in -ch, -sh, -s, -x, -o, -z: Add -ES.

3. Verbs ending in CONSONANT + -Y: Change -Y to -IES.
